Florida Fishing Expo Returns April 17–18, 2027, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach
DAYTONA BEACH, FL — Florida Fishing Expo has announced its 2027 dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 17–18, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. The show returns for its first full year under the Florida Fishing Expo name, following last year's rebrand from Florida Saltwater Fishing Expo — a change built to reflect what the show has always been at its best: a gathering point for every kind of Florida angler, saltwater and freshwater alike.
"We've always been proud of what this show has meant for the fishing community here in Florida," said the expo's organizers. "Interest has kept growing every year, though, and the 2027 show is about expanding to meet it — more room on the floor, more for families, and more of everything Florida anglers come out for."
What's Returning in 2027
The exhibitor floor will once again bring together tackle brands, boat and electronics manufacturers, apparel companies, and charter operators from across the state and beyond, alongside a full seminar schedule featuring captains, tournament anglers, and conservation groups. Attendees can expect hands-on demos, expert-led sessions, and direct access to the people and brands behind the gear — not just a booth to walk past.
The Next Generation Anglers Zone returns as well, offering hands-on casting and knot-tying clinics, cast netting demos, catch-and-release education, and a Conservation Corner built for young anglers — free with admission, both expo days. First introduced in 2025, the Zone has grown into one of the show's most anticipated features for families.
A Show Built Wider
The shift from Florida Saltwater Fishing Expo to Florida Fishing Expo wasn't a rename for its own sake — it opened the floor to freshwater vendors and attendees who hadn't previously seen a place for themselves at the show. Florida's freshwater fishing scene, from bass-packed lakes to inland rivers, sits alongside its saltwater scene as one of the best in the country, and the 2027 show is built to represent both under one roof.
